WHERE WE SERVE
BASED IN DFW. BUILT FOR TEXAS.
Stream serves contractors across Texas from one office in Dallas — Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio and the rest of the state the same way.

THE OFFICE
ONE OFFICE. ONE PHONE NUMBER.
Stream works out of 16135 Preston Rd, STE 110, Dallas, TX 75248, and that address is the whole of the firm — there is no branch network behind it and no local office to be routed through.
Tax work is focused on Texas; contractors outside it are welcome to ask for a straight answer on fit.
Dallas, where the office is
The office is in Dallas, so this is where our clients’ books are kept and where the phone rings when they call. It is also the only place on this page where being nearby changes anything practical, and what it changes is small: paperwork can be handed over in person rather than uploaded.
Houston, on the same filing calendar
A Houston contractor files the same Texas franchise tax report and the same federal returns as one in North Texas, on the same dates. Nothing in the accounting changes with the drive, which is why our clients on the Gulf Coast are served the same way as the ones down the road.
Austin, and the distance that isn’t one
Austin is the same case. A remodeler there job-costs the way a remodeler here does, and because our clients’ books live in QuickBooks Online rather than on a machine in an office, the file is as close to us in Austin as it is in Dallas.
WHAT THE CITY DOESN’T CHANGE
THE SAME WORK, WHEREVER YOU BUILD.
Five things are identical for a contractor anywhere in Texas. They are most of what this service is.
-
TEXAS FRANCHISE TAX
It applies statewide, not by city. Annual franchise tax reporting is handled for your entity wherever the entity is registered.
-
FEDERAL DEADLINES
Filing dates are set in Washington, not locally. A contractor in one Texas city is on the same calendar as a contractor in another.
-
THE BOOKS ARE ONLINE
Work happens in QuickBooks Online through secure cloud-based tools, so the file is equally reachable from either end of the state.
-
JOB COSTING
Retainage, progress billing and WIP behave the same on any job site. The trade decides how the books are kept; the postcode does not.
-
ONE PHONE NUMBER
(972) 445-9440 reaches the same office from anywhere. There is no local line that routes you somewhere else first.
HOW FAR IT GOES
THREE ANSWERS, DEPENDING WHERE YOU ARE.
The service is the same everywhere. What changes is how much of it we can commit to, and that is worth being plain about before anybody starts.
-
In Dallas–Fort Worth
The office is in Dallas, and we serve contractors in Fort Worth and the rest of the metroplex on identical terms — the firm is based in this area, so there is no inside or outside to it. Bookkeeping and tax preparation both, with the option of handing paperwork over in person if that is easier than uploading it.
WHAT WE DO -
Across the rest of Texas
We serve contractors across Texas, and we serve San Antonio contractors on the same footing as any other — Texas franchise tax applies statewide and remote bookkeeping works there exactly as it does in Dallas. Both services are available: books kept monthly or cleaned up, and returns prepared and filed.
CONTRACTOR BOOKKEEPING -
From outside Texas
Stream is focused on Texas and does not commit to returns outside it. If you are out of state, ask, and you will get a straight answer on fit rather than a maybe.
